District New Construction Progress
In a presentation to the Board of Education on June 21, 2021, Chief Operations Officer Clete Welch shared updates about the new central office building, Boswell High School, Lake Country Elementary, Chisholm Trail High School, and Saginaw High School.
Administration Building
- The northern parking lot pour has been completed
- Site work delayed due to rain
- Eastern walls in the business area are being formed for future concrete pour
Boswell High School
- Stadium grandstand is scheduled for arrival on July 2, 2021
- Stadium masonry columns have been completed
- Concrete flatwork needs to be completed before granstand installation
- Metal studs are on backorder due to supply issues
- Light poles have arrived on site and visitor bleacher pier drilling has resumed; must be compelted by June 16, 2021
- CMU block work is near completion on the visitor's side ticket booth
- Wall tile work in shower rooms have been completed
- Interior renovation of the gymnastics area includes expanding the storage areas, public restrooms, new locker rooms and lockers, new offices, fire sprinkler installed, LED lighting and painting
Lake Country Elementary School
- Kitchen is ready for final cleaning
- Office area is 95% complete
- Upstairs classrooms ceiling grid have been installed
- Final above ceiling inspection needed before panels can be dropped in place
- The main corridor is complete except for flooring and sound panels
- Gym basketball goals are being installed
- Second grade hallway is being prepped for VCT
- 80% of the classrooms have carpet installed
- Rain caused delay in poring sidewalks which must be completed before playground installation can begin
Chisholm Trail and Saginaw HS
- Baseball fields turf projects are in beginning stages of moisture conditioning
