• In a presentation to the Board of Education on December 14, 2020, Chief Operations Officer Clete Welch provided an update to the Board.

    Boswell High School 

    • Press box pad is being prepped. 
    • Dirt work between the turf room and offices are being graded. 
    • Plumbing is being installed for the freshman locker room. 
    • Walkway has been poured from the main building to the new athletic facility. 
    • Slab for the varsity and JVlocker room has been poured. CMU block has been delivered for wall construction. 
    • Slab preparations for the gymnastics offices and dressing rooms. 
    • Additional shortage and restroom for gymnastics area. The first row of CMU block has been laid. 
    • Turf room grade beam is being formed up. This is located next to the Max Newcom Gym.

    Lake Country Elementary School 

    • Lift is being used to lift the joist to be installed in the cafeteria. 
    • East drive is being poured. 
    • Pump truck being utilized to assist in concrete pour on eastern edge of the property. 
    • Form boards have been staked in place and rebar is tied together for concrete pour. 
    • Retaining wall for detention pond is in the process of being formed up for concrete. 
    • Retaining wall is 90 percent complete.  
    • Decking has been installed above the joist in the cafeteria. 
    • Elevator walls are 90 percent complete. 
    • IFC walls are being installed in kindergarten and first grade hallway. 
    • CMU blocks are being installed in the kitchen area. 
    • Welder is installing beams between the cafeteria and gym. 
    • CMU block is being installed in the freezer area of the kitchen.

    Maintenance Facility 

    • New view of the building from the road. 
    • Warehouse exterior metal panels are being installed.

    Progress Update of Other Projects 

    • Security Upgrades at Multiple campuses and Jim Knight Maintenance facility Additions and Renovations - Prep work has been completed. Hardware will be delivered during the break. Install will also begin during the break. 
    • Central Office - Naming the general contractor is an action item for Board consideration at tonight’s meeting.  
    • Eagle Mountain HS – Design and site development continues.  
    • Wayside MS – Working on site development.
