Coaching Staff
Colin Yocom, Head CoachThe Saginaw High School Men's Head Soccer Coach since 2009/10 school year. Coach Yocom holds a USSF B License and a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and has 20+ years of coaching experience. Coach Yocom attended Southwest Texas State University and Tarleton State University, where he played Collegiate Club Soccer. Since 2009, the Rough Riders have been District Champions once in 2018, Bi-District Champions twice in 2010 and 2022, and have six playoff appearances in 2009, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2019 and 2022. He has produced several all-district, all-area and all-region players.Coach Yocom is Senior Staff for BVB International Academy (2010-present), formerly Liverpool FC IAA. He has guided over 50 players to play college soccer in DI, DII, DIII and NAIA. His club teams play in the Classic League (Dallas) and ECNL Regional League. In 2021 he was honored with an award from Positive Coaching Alliance as Regional Positive Coach of the Year. His influence has inspired many of his players to become high school coaches and club coaches. Coach Yocom is driven to help athletes and students reach their full potential as players, students, young men, future fathers, future leaders and mentors."Once you are a Rough Rider soccer player, you will always be one.
