• Mrs. Hurst

    Amy Hurst is the current director of the Pure Gold Dance team and dance instructor for Boswell High School. Mrs. Hurst has been dancing since she was two years old, with both studio and professional experience. She was Captain of the Keller High School Indianettes, and upon graduation, she made a spot on the prestigious World Famous Kilgore College Rangerettes. Mrs. Hurst completed two years as a Rangerette and Swingster. She then transferred to Texas Tech University where she was a part of the University Dance Company. She was selected to represent the dance program at Tech and traveled to Trinidad and Tobego for the annual COCO Dance Festival. Mrs. Hurst then graduated Tech receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Dance. This is Mrs. Hurst's eleventh year to teach high school and ninth year at Boswell High School.

    Miss. G is a graduate of Boswell High School. She was a part of The Pure Gold Dance Team and served as a dance team officer for 2 years. With Pure Gold, she performed at Walt Disney in Florida, the Cowboys AT&T Stadium, and the 91st Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She then went on to Trinity Valley Community College, where she was a member of the Nationality Acclaimed Trinity Valley Cardettes and a showgirl on their competition team. As a Cardette she performed for a Texas Legends halftime, Dallas Veterans parade, and the 100th Dunkin Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade. Upon graduation, she transferred to Texas Wesleyan University where she served as Captain on the Goldline Dance Team, competed at DTU & NCA, and got to be part of a Dallas Cowboys halftime performance. She then received her Bachelor's degree and obtained her teaching certification in Dance.
