Student Information - Students enter basic demographic information, select a housing preference, and answer a some additional questions. This is the also the step where male students will indicate their Selective Service statement of registration status. 

Student Dependency Status Determination - Determine if a student is a dependent or an independent student.

Parent Information - Enter basic demographic information for the parent, education level, and marital status for the parent/guardian, if applicable. 

Income Information - Students enter income, earnings, and assets information for themselves and their parent or stepparent, if a dependent student.

Household Information- Students list the name, age, relationship, and college attendance for each member of the household. 

Signatures - The student and parent or guardian sign and certify the application. The parent signature is required for dependent students. 

Complete the 2025-2025 TASFA. Once complete, the application will need to be printed and signed. Send the completed TASFA to each college you have applied to.
