• EMS Seeks Alumni Educators
    $5,000 Signing Bonus | $60,200 Base Pay | Rewarding Career


    ²ÝÁñÉçÇø is offering a $5,000 signing bonus to alumni who return to the district to begin or continue their education career. Applicants who meet the requirements below are also welcome to apply.

    • attended a traditional university-based educator preparation program 
    • and are fully certified according to the Texas State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC). 

    or

    • completed an alternative certification-based educator preparation program 
    • fully certified according to the Texas State Board of Educator Certification (SBEC)
    • If at time of hire the qualified alumni candidate is finishing their alternative certification program, they are still eligible for the signing bonus after they have obtained a standard Texas teacher certificate.

    Teachers who meet the requirements listed above will receive:

    • a $5,000 signing bonus.

    Additionally, ²ÝÁñÉçÇø offers to all educators:

    • $60,200 base pay
    • Full medical benefits

    EMS2Teach Program
    Program Graduates Guaranteed an Interview

    Students who completed the Education and Training program through the Hollenstein Career and Technology Center are guaranteed an interview as part of the EMS2Teach program.

    Pictured at left are students who completed the Education and Training program at HCTC in 2021. Students signed letters of intent to interview for a teaching position with ²ÝÁñÉçÇø after college graduation.

    Meet ²ÝÁñÉçÇø's First EMS2Teach Qualifier

    Maritza Zaragoza has experienced several “firsts” in her life. As an ²ÝÁñÉçÇø alumna, she was a part of the first fifth-grade class to attend Parkview Elementary when it opened. Additionally, she is a member of the first freshman class to attend Chisholm Trail High School. This Class of 2016 CTHS graduate also is a first-generation college graduate.
